    1. Chapter 11: Bromwich's Integral & Inverse Laplace Transforms on Monday (3/4) . This is the last lecture covered by the first midterm.
    2. We will now begin studying Partial Differential Equations and using the second book: here is the first chapter:

Midterm Preperation Materials
The first midterm was available on Wednesday, March 6th in class and due on Monday, March 11th in class.
  • The exam was a four-hour take-home with an up to one hour break.
  • You could use six pages of notes of your construction.
  • You could use this Table of Laplace Transforms.
  • You could NOT use any internet resources.
  • You could use a calculator for simple arithmetic, but NOTHING else.
The exam covered the topics in Lecture notes #1-11 -  basically our introduction to Complex Variables and Laplace Transforms.
