Class will meet Mondays and Wednesdays,
for the first half-semester (23 January through 5 March), from 1:15-2:30 PM in Beckman B134.
Prerequisites: MATH 62, or permission of the instructor.
This course is prerequisite to MATH 152 (Statistical Theory),
MATH 158 (Statistical Data Analysis) and MATH 156 (Stochastic Processes) and
MATH 159 (Seminar in Probability and Stochastic Processes).

EXAMS & GRADING
There will be a midterm exam and a final exam. The exam dates and formats
will be discussd in class and posted below.
Course grades will be based on the
