Recipients of the RIF Prize
The RIF Prizes are cash prizes awarded to the top three HMC students on the William Lowell Putnam Mathematical Competition. In exceptional years, more awards may be made. The amounts can vary from year to year, depending on the endowment and the performance of the top students. For instance, landing the Top 100 nationwide has generally been recognized with a $100 RIF Prize.
For more information on the history of the RIF prizes (as well as The RIF Scholarship, see Aaron Archer's description.
