Mission statement of Harvey Mudd College: "Harvey Mudd College seeks to educate engineers, scientists, and mathematicians, well versed in all of these areas and in the humanities and the social sciences so that they may assume leadership in their fields with a clear understanding of the impact of their work on society."

I co-direct the Harvey Mudd College Professional Development and Outreach Group, am the PI for the Community of Ordinary Differential Equations Educators, and am on the steering committee for Math for America Los Angeles. I serve as our college's Associate Dean for Diversity. I also advise Mudders considering careers in education.
