Pre-education advising at HMC

Although Harvey Mudd does not offer a specialized track for students considering a career in education, our strong emphasis on science and engineering and the humanities and social sciences produces students that are well-equipped to become educators. Furthermore, our close proximity and ties to the Teacher Education Program at CGU creates natural opportunites for those wanting to be primary or secondary teachers.

Here's a hopefully-not-out-of-date list of educational outreach opportunities. You should strongly consider participating in some activities of this sort to find out if you really would enjoy a career in education or to gain experience for your resume. The Career Services Office also maintains a list of paid tutoring positions.
