This course provides an introduction to the calculus of multivariable functions and vector fields. Topics include gradient, divergence, curl, double and triple integrals, parametrized curves, flows, line integrals, and Green's theorem.

We will be using Vector Calculus, 2nd Ed. by Susan Jane Colley.

Written homework will be assigned and collected daily. You are encouraged to discuss the homework with other members of the class, but you will be expected to write up your solutions without any assistance. It is appropriate to acknowledge the assistance of others. We will reserve the right to refuse to accept late homework for any reason. Assignments may be found here.

There will be two exams. The exam dates are as following:

Exam 1:	Friday, February 11 (take home exam)
Exam 2:	Friday, March 4 (in class exam)

Course grades will be based on the following percentages:



Homework:	35%
Exam 1:	30%
Exam 2:	35%
