These web pages were mostly constructed during my (first) stay in grad school, and are lately unmaintained, but I thought I'd bring my doings up to date a little....
- After 5 years in Baltimore, I finally got my PhD in Mathematical Sciences from Johns Hopkins.
- After a cross-country drive and a month of rest, I took a job working as a programmer at
Laserfiche, which lasted 11 months. It was pretty cool for a real job... every day at lunch they brought in free food and I got to play
Age of Empires and
Quake II with the other geeks.
- However, thru dumb luck and the help of Art Benjamin, I got to spend 4 years working my dream job... teaching math at my old alma mater,
Harvey Mudd College! Weird but true.
- I went back to Laserfiche for four years. Which was fine, but longer than I'd intended.
- I am now going back to school, and working on a Ph.D. in
Computer Science at
UC Santa Cruz.
- I expect I'll be updating this page again some time after 2010... stay tuned!
