More personal stuff (under construction)

Hi! Thanks for visiting my page!

I'm an assistant professor in the Harvey Mudd College Mathematics Department, an amazing place that I love! See why! I was a graduate student at Harvard, and after getting my degree I spent a year teaching there before moving to the Claremont Colleges in July 1996. I did my undergraduate work at the University of Texas at Austin, a place I remember very fondly. I grew up in Kingsville, TX, a small south Texas town. Before that, I was a gargoyle in Hixon Court, in case you were ever wondering about the missing gargoyle. Here's a picture of a quieter life before I left to MAKE IT BIG:

The road from gargoyle to professor was long and arduous, and I do not advise all of you to try it.

[NEWS FLASH: Recent reports indicate that the missing gargoyle has been replaced!]

Hobbies of mine include guitar and songwriting. Favorite sports include: jogging, volleyball, and crew. I am hoping to put other stuff here, like songs I've written, and pictures of people in my life, etc.

Do come back and visit my page when I have more time to put stuff on it!
