COMSOL Multiphysics is a modeling package for the simulation of any physical process you can describe with partial differential equations (PDEs). It features state-of-the-art solvers that address complex problems quickly and accurately, while its intuitive structure is designed to provide ease of use and flexibility.
The department has a single floating license for research purposes. We also share a thirty-seat classroom license with physics.
The default version of COMSOL Multiphysics as of 2009 February 13 is 3.5a. COMSOL Multiphysics 4.1 is also available.
COMSOL Multiphysics can interact with MATLAB, and should be configured to work with the current version of MATLAB on the system.
